There is nothing to prevent you from registering as many domain names for your business as your consider fitting. In fact in many instances it is a good idea.
For example, if you had orginally registered an international domain names such as www.bluelilyideas.com and have found that many of your search engine referred visitors originate from Australia, you might like to register www.bluelilyideas.com.au to attract even more geographic based visitors
